Back the British Glider Aerobatic Team

The Road to the 2026 World Championships

Glider aerobatics in the UK is built on dedication, skill, and countless volunteer hours. But preparing a national team for the world stage is a different challenge entirely — one that demands focused training, specialist coaching, and the ability to compete on equal footing with the best pilots from across the globe.

In September 2026, the British Team will take to the skies in Fayence, France for the World Advanced Glider Aerobatic Championships. This is a rare opportunity to put Great Britain back on the international aerobatics stage and show what our pilots are capable of.

To help us get there, we’ve launched a Crowdfunder campaign that supports the essential elements behind a world-class performance: aircraft transport, training camps, safety equipment, and the logistics that keep the team focused and competition-ready. Every contribution moves us one step closer to the podium and strengthens the UK’s presence at the highest level of the sport.

If you believe in British aerobatics — and in showcasing home-grown talent on a global platform — we’d love to have you with us.
