The Home of UK Glider Aerobatics

Our philosophy is simple: aerobatics should be open, accessible and inspiring!

We aim to build from the grassroots up — increasing participation, raising awareness, and ensuring that every pilot who is curious about aerobatics has a clear, safe, and welcoming pathway to get started.

We believe in equipping pilots with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to own their own development journey. From first loops to world championships, we provide resources, coaching connections, and a supportive community that helps every pilot progress at their own pace.

We want to inspire the next generation: to show that aerobatics is not only about competition, but also about skill, safety, precision, and the sheer joy of flight. By raising the visibility of the sport and sharing its unique beauty, we create opportunities for new pilots, new audiences, and a stronger future for glider aerobatics.

March 2025: Third Training Camp (8th–9th)

Early spring brought fresh energy to the squad. Despite the short weekend, progress was significant. Neil achieved sign-offs for tailslides, rolls on vertical downlines, and inverted pushes under Gally’s watchful eye. To round things off, he checked Gally out on the winch, making sure he was current with a normal launch and a simulated failure.

Laura built on her growing confidence with coaching flights, while Merlin explored the vintage Lunak alongside further training. Elliot also took valuable dual instruction, gradually refining his sequences. Mark and Gally used the opportunity to work together, laying the groundwork for Mark to instruct the more advanced figures in future camps.

A highlight came when Neil took the back seat with Paul Conran in front, as Paul began his journey back into instructing after several years away. With his wealth of Unlimited-level aerobatic experience, Paul’s return promises to be a huge asset for the squad—especially with the Fox expected to be available later in the year.
