The Home of UK Glider Aerobatics

Our philosophy is simple: aerobatics should be open, accessible and inspiring!

We aim to build from the grassroots up — increasing participation, raising awareness, and ensuring that every pilot who is curious about aerobatics has a clear, safe, and welcoming pathway to get started.

We believe in equipping pilots with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to own their own development journey. From first loops to world championships, we provide resources, coaching connections, and a supportive community that helps every pilot progress at their own pace.

We want to inspire the next generation: to show that aerobatics is not only about competition, but also about skill, safety, precision, and the sheer joy of flight. By raising the visibility of the sport and sharing its unique beauty, we create opportunities for new pilots, new audiences, and a stronger future for glider aerobatics.

2026 Advanced Team Confirmed
14-11-2025 GLIDER ADVANCED TEAM SELECTION 2026   The Selection Panel has completed its review of all applications from pilots seeking selection for the 2026 World Advanced Glider Aerobatic Championships. Past British contest performance, participation in training events, and direct feedback from instructors and coaches were all taken into account.   British Aerobatics is committed to supporting members who wish to compete internationally. Success at this level requires not only the technical flying capability to score competitively, but also a strong commitment to team culture, shared learning, and a collaborative approach. Our selection process reflects this. Based on performance to date, we are pleased to confirm that Neil Oakley, Laura Martin and Alex Phillips are selected for the Team.   We also recognise the potential of a wider group of pilots whose performance trajectory and commitment is clear. Elliott Cox, Seb Brown, Dan Weston and Simon Smith are therefore selected for the Squad. They will train alongside the Team over the coming season. There will be a further selection window ...
